Gifts for the Groom

With Valentine's Day right around the corner it's time to start thinking about what to get your guy. Many people say women are hard to shop for, but I beg to differ. Of course I am biased, but I know so many gifts that will make any girl happy. For men on the other hand, options are limited for men.

Giving something special to your Groom on your wedding is a way to show your love even before being able to see each other. The gesture can be big or small; all that matters is that it comes from you with love.

To help make the decision easier I rounded up a few of my favorite ideas:

Personalized Accessory

These cuff links and humorous socks are ideal for the big day, and he can use them after.

Boudoir Photo Shoot

This gift may be unexpected, but your man will be happily surprised. Have a sexy private portrait session; just be sure to label it "For Your Eyes Only."

A Wedding Remembered

There is so much anticipation leading up to a wedding, it's easy to think you'll remember it forever. Everyone knows your wedding is one of the most important days in your life. It's nice to have photos to look back on and cherish, but there are a slew of other unique ways to remember that day.

First Dance Lyrics
Photo of your first dance with lyrics to the song you danced to...oh yes definitely!
Have the song lyrics to your first dance put on a photo. It's a sweet reminder of that special moment.

Wedding Dress Closet
Adrienne Maloof & her framed wedding dress. Would be gorgeous in a dressing room one day.
Everyone knows about preserving a wedding dress, but does that 2x3 ft box really do it justice? I love the idea of having your entire gown framed and hung up in your closet. Of course this does require a walk in, so make sure your new husband keeps this in mind..

#yourwedding
InstagramAddict
A great way to get your guest involved at your wedding is incorporating Instagram. You can ask them to use a particular hashtag when uploading photos such as #chris&laura2014. This allows you access to all the wonderful candid shots.

Frame of Flowers

Don't throw away your beautiful  fresh bouquet after the big day. Instead send it to to be preserved and framed.

No Explanation Needed,Simple DIYs

I am the first to admit the world of do it yourself can be intimidating. Some people seem to be born crafting geniuses, while I am somewhere between terrified of a glue gun, and beginner.  I have not given up on my do it yourself dreams, and neither should you!

DIY touches are the perfect way to add personality to a wedding. These projects are so simple they don't even need a step by step tutorial.

Ombre Backdrop

Perfection is not necessary with this project, and it is a great way to tie in your color scheme.

"Rather than use tableclothes or placemats, we bought large, white doilies and came up with personal messages for our guests that Lauren hand-wrote in her amazing and unique calligraphy. Some messages were specific (to our parents) and other were general messages that we wanted to share with our guests."
Personalized Dollie Place Settings

Individual messages to each of your guest is a sweet touch to the place settings.
